SMS Program and Opt-In Disclosure

This page documents the complete call to action and opt in flow for the Opulentus Automation text messaging program, operated by Opulentus Media LLC on behalf of participating local service businesses.
How a consumer opts in (the call to action)
- Step 1. The consumer places a phone call to a participating business, using the business's publicly advertised phone number.
- Step 2. The call goes unanswered (missed, busy, or after hours).
- Step 3. At that moment the caller hears a short voice prompt. This prompt is the call to action, and this is its exact language:
"Thanks for calling [Business Name]. Sorry we missed you. We just sent you a text so we can help right away. Please reply to that message and we'll be right with you."
- Step 4. The consumer receives exactly one text message from the business's dedicated number. This is the first message, verbatim:
"Hi, this is [Business Name]. Sorry we missed your call. What can we help you with today? Reply here and we'll get back to you shortly. Reply STOP to opt out."
- Step 5. A two way conversation continues only if the consumer replies. If the consumer does not reply, at most one follow up message is sent.
Who can be messaged
Only the phone number that just placed the call to the business, and only after that call went unanswered. No contact lists are purchased, rented, imported, or messaged. There is no other entry point into this messaging program.
Program disclosures
- Message frequency varies by conversation; typically one to five messages.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply HELP for help at any time, or contact info@opulentusmedia.com.
- Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Opt outs are honored immediately and checked before every send. Reply START to resume.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Mobile information and messaging consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
