Call forwarding › AT&T Business
AT&T Business phone call forwarding codes.
This covers AT’T Phone for Business, AT&T’s traditional business phone line service. If your business runs on an AT&T wireless cell phone instead, use the AT&T wireless codes on the main call forwarding page. The two use different codes.
The codes, from AT&T’s own business support site.
Dial these from the AT&T business phone whose calls you want to forward. Replace [your Opulentus number] with the number shown in your Opulentus setup.
*72[your Opulentus number]#Forward all calls. Your phone stops ringing. Off: *73#.*92[your Opulentus number]#Forward calls you don’t answer. Off: *93#.*90[your Opulentus number]#Forward calls when your line is busy. Off: *91#.
For missed call text back, use *92 (no answer) and *90 (busy), not *72. *72 forwards every call, so your phone never rings.
AT&T’s support site doesn’t publish a separate code for “unreachable” or “out of range,” since this is a wired or digital business line, not a cell phone. It does document Safe Call Forwarding (*372[your Opulentus number]#, off *373#) for a network or power outage.

What to know before you dial.
Wrong AT&T product?
Business line, not a cell phone.
These codes are for AT&T Phone for Business. An AT&T wireless cell phone uses **61*, **67*, and **62* instead. Check which service your business actually runs on before you dial.
Online account
You can skip the dial code.
AT&T’s support site says you can set your forwarding number through your online AT&T Business account instead of dialing a code from the handset.
If the code fails.
Step one
Confirm the number.
Make sure you dialed the full number correctly after the code, with no extra digits or pauses.
Step two
Try the online account.
If the dial code won’t save, set the forwarding number through your AT&T Business online account instead.
Step three
Verify in Opulentus.
Once forwarding is on, tap Verify in Opulentus setup. It places a real test call and confirms it works.
AT&T Business forwarding questions.
What is AT&T Business's call forwarding code?
It depends what you want forwarded. *72 followed by the number and # forwards every call. *92 followed by the number and # forwards calls you don't answer. *90 followed by the number and # forwards calls when your line is busy. Each turns off with its own code: *73# for all calls, *93# for no-answer, *91# for busy.
Is this the same as AT&T wireless call forwarding?
No. This is AT&T's traditional business phone line service (AT&T Phone for Business), not AT&T's wireless cell phone network. The codes on this page won't work on a cell phone. AT&T doesn't publish dial codes for its wireless service, so if your business runs on an AT&T cell phone, check the code with AT&T. The main call forwarding guide explains what to ask for.
How do I turn off call forwarding on my AT&T business line?
Dial the off code that matches what you turned on: *73# for all calls, *93# for no-answer forwarding, or *91# for busy forwarding.
Can I manage call forwarding without dialing a code?
Yes. AT&T's support site says you can also manage your forwarding number through your online AT&T Business account instead of a dial code.
What if a call comes in during a network or power outage?
AT&T documents a separate Safe Call Forwarding feature for that: *372 followed by the number and # turns it on, *373# turns it off. It's meant for outages, not everyday missed calls.
