Stay on the job, off the phone. When you miss a call, Opulentus texts the caller back from your business in seconds and asks the questions you set. The conversation lands in your inbox, and you get a text alert. It’s like a receptionist for every call you miss, without hiring one.

Step one
Sign up and set your message.
Start your free trial. Then answer a short set of questions about your business.

- Pick your follow-up questions, like the service needed or a ZIP code.
- Set your hours and a separate after-hours message.
- Choose when it texts.
Step two
Forward the calls you miss.
On a cell phone, pick your carrier and dial the codes setup shows you. On a VoIP line, ask your phone provider to turn on conditional forwarding. Then tap Verify. On a traditional landline, book a call first and we’ll check whether your phone company can forward it.
Step three
Texts go out. Leads come in.
Every caller you miss gets your text in seconds. Their replies land in your Opulentus inbox on the web, and you get a text alert. You reply when you’re free.
What happens on a missed call.
Opulentus follows the rules you set, plus a few built in.
When it texts
You pick the triggers.
- Busy. You were already on another call.
- Declined. You sent the call away because you couldn’t talk.
- Missed during business hours. The call rang and nobody picked up.
- Missed after hours. The caller gets your after-hours message instead.
Built-in rules
The right callers get a text.
- Hidden or invalid numbers skipped. Blocked, withheld, anonymous, or invalid caller IDs get no text and don’t become leads.
- Cooldown. A caller who tries you again soon doesn’t get another text. The default is 4 hours.
- Opt-out. The first text in a conversation includes “Reply STOP to opt out.” Anyone who replies STOP stops getting texts.
You keep your number.
Customers keep calling the number they already know, and your phone rings like it does today. Only the calls you miss forward to Opulentus. Your business gets its own dedicated texting number, and texts go out in your business’s name.
If you’d rather advertise a fresh number, setup offers that too: we assign one, and calls to it try your phone first before Opulentus catches the ones you miss. Either way the texting number is separate from the line you take calls on.

How does missed call text back work?
Your phone rings like it does today. When you don't pick up, the call forwards to your Opulentus number. The caller gets a text from your business in seconds, with the questions you set. Their replies land in your inbox, and you get a text alert.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. Customers keep calling the number they already know. Only the calls you miss forward to Opulentus. Your texts go out from a dedicated texting number, in your business's name.
What happens when I answer the call?
Nothing changes. You talk to the caller like normal. Opulentus only texts callers you don't reach: when you're busy, you decline, or you don't pick up, based on the triggers you turn on.
Does it work with a landline or VoIP phone system?
VoIP, yes. VoIP lines don't use a dial code: ask your phone provider to turn on conditional call forwarding, for no answer and busy, to your Opulentus number, then tap Verify in setup. A traditional landline depends on the phone company, and some won't turn this kind of forwarding on, so book a call with the button at the top of this page and we'll check yours with you first.
How do I know forwarding is working?
Setup has a Verify step. It places a real test call to your number and confirms it forwards. If it doesn't, setup walks you through fixes and gives you a backup code. If nothing shows it working 48 hours after you go live, we check in with you.
Does it text spam calls?
Calls from blocked, withheld, anonymous, or invalid caller IDs are skipped. They get no text and don't become leads. Each caller also has a cooldown, 4 hours by default, so repeat calls don't mean repeat texts.
What if a caller doesn't want texts?
The first text in a conversation includes "Reply STOP to opt out." Anyone who replies STOP stops getting texts.
Is Opulentus an AI?
No. It runs on the rules you set: your message, your questions, and when to text. It doesn't answer calls or talk to your customers for you. You stay in control of every reply.
