The questions you’d ask on the phone.
There are six, in a fixed order. Three are on when you start and three are off. You write the wording for all of them.
On to start
- Service. How big the home is, and the moving date. Those two set the crew and the truck.
- ZIP code. Reword it for both ends: moving from, moving to. Local and long distance are different quotes.
- Urgency. Reword it as stairs, elevator, or both. That’s the answer that adds hours.
Off until you want them
- Description. Whether they need packing or just loading and transport, and anything oversized.
- Photos. A picture of the garage or the piano settles what a bedroom count never will.
- Callback. Best number and time, which matters when your callback is the next morning.

When it texts
- After hours. The switch to turn on first for this trade. Quote calls land in the evening. More on after hours.
- Missed during hours. Covers move days, when the whole crew is carrying furniture.
- Busy or declined. You were already quoting someone, or you were behind the wheel.
What it skips
- Hidden numbers. Blocked, withheld, and anonymous caller IDs don’t get a text.
- Repeat callers. A cooldown, 4 hours by default, stops text after text.
- Opt-outs. The first text says “Reply STOP to opt out.” Anyone who replies STOP stops getting texts.

Is this an answering service for movers?
No. Nobody answers your phone. Missed callers get a text from your business, answer the questions you set, and land in your inbox as a quote lead.
Can it collect both addresses before I call back?
Yes. Reword the ZIP code question to ask where they're moving from and where they're moving to. That tells you local or long distance before you spend a minute on it.
Can it quote the move?
No. It gathers the answers you asked for and alerts you. Pricing and the estimate stay yours.
Can it ask about stairs and elevators?
Yes. Those answers change your crew size, so they're worth asking up front. Put them in the description question or the numbered one.
Evening calls are most of my leads. Does it handle those differently?
Yes. Calls after your hours get your after-hours message, which can say when you'll follow up. It's a separate message from the one you use during the day.
Do I have to change my number?
No. Customers keep calling the number on your listings. Each business gets its own dedicated texting number, and the text goes out in your business's name.
What does it cost?
